Stock market movers: Top 10 winners and losers on BSE, NSE on June 4

Equity benchmark Sensex declined 132 points on Friday, led by profit-booking in banking stocks after the Reserve Bank of India's monetary policy announcements.

The 30-share BSE index ended 132.38 points or 0.25 percent lower at 52,100.05, while the broader NSE Nifty slipped 20.10 points or 0.13 per cent to 15,670.25.

Nestle India was the top laggard in the Sensex pack, shedding around 2 percent, followed by SBI, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, HUL and Dr Reddy’s.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv, ONGC, L&T, Bajaj Finance and HDFC were among the gainers.

Sensex gainers

  1. Bajaj Finserv: It was the top winner in the Sensex pack. It touched an intra day high of Rs 12,189 before closing at Rs 12,120, up 299.45 points or 2.53 percent.

  2. ONGC: The stock was trading intra day high of Rs 126.70 before closing at Rs 125.40, up 2.75 points or 2.24 percent.

  3. Larsen and Toubro: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 1547 before closing at Rs 1537.60, up 27.35 points or 1.81 percent.

  4. Bajaj Finance: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 6,009, before closing at Rs 5,993.55, up 91.90 points or 1.56 percent.

  5. HDFC: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 2,625.25 before losing at Rs 2,619.45, up 36.60 points or 1.42 percent.

Sensex losers

  1. Nestle Industries: The stock was the top loser in the Sensex pack. It touched an intra day low of Rs 17,387.20 before closing at Rs 17,445.15, down 350.55 points or (-)1.97 percent.

  2. State Bank of India: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 431.70 before closing at Rs 433.60, down 6.05 points or (-)1.38 percent.

  3. HDFC Bank: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 1,499 before closing at Rs 1,501.15, down 19.05 points or (-)1.25 percent.

  4. ICICI Bank: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 639.35 before closing at Rs 642.80, down 7.40 points or (-)1.14 percent.

  5. Axis Bank: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 740 before closing at Rs 742.10, down 8.35 points or (-)1.11 percent

Nifty50 gainers

  1. Tata Motors: The top gainer in Nifty50. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 358.20 per piece before closing at Rs 336.80 per piece, 11.15 points up or 3.42 percent.

  2. Grasim Industries: It touched an intraday high of Rs 1,604.60 to close at Rs 1,507, up 48.25 points or 3.31 percent.

  3. Coal India: The stock touched intraday high of Rs 163.95 to close at Rs 153.20, up 4.15 points or 2.78 percent.

  4. Bajaj Finserv: The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 13,001.80 before closing at Rs 12,125 per piece, up 305.15 points or 2.58 percent.

  5. ONGC: It touched an intra-day high of Rs 134.75 to close at Rs 125.15 up 2.65 points or 2.16 percent up.

Nifty50 losers

  1. Nestle India: It is the top loser in the Nifty50. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 16,019.50 to close at Rs 17,443 per share, down 356.40 points or (-) 2 percent.

  2. State Bank of India: It touched an intra-day low of Rs 395.70 per piece to close at Rs 434.30 per share, down 5.35 points or (-) 1.22 percent.

  3. Hindalco: It touched an intra-day low of Rs 359.30 per share to close at Rs 394.75, down by 4.45 points or (-) 1.11 percent.

  4. HDFC Bank: The stock touched an intra-day low of Rs 1,368.50 per share to close Rs 1,503.65 per share, down 16.90 points or (-) 1.11 percent.

  5. Axis Bank: The stock touched an intra-day low of Rs 675.60 per share to close at Rs 742.80, down 7.85 points or (-) 1.05 percent.
