Silver futures up 0.15% on global cues

New Delhi: Silver prices rose 0.15 per cent to Rs 35,383 per kg in futures trade today largely in tune with a recovery trend in global market. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in September traded higher by Rs 53, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 35,383 per kg in a business turnover of 1,260 lots. Also, the white metal for delivery in far-month December rose by Rs 27, or 0.07 per cent to Rs 36,110 per kg in 30 lots. In the international market, silver gained 0.85 per cent to USD 15.36 an ounce in New York in yesterday’s trade. Market analysts said a firming trend in the global market, mainly influenced silver futures here.
