Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Tuesday called on Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal and apprised him of the pending rail projects in the state and requested for their early completion.
Chauhan informed that Lalitpur-Sagar-Devari, Kareli-Chhindwara, Khajuraho-Chhatarpur-Sagar, Sagar- Jabalpur, Chhatarpur-Panna-Satna, Damoh-Panna, Lalitpur-Chanderi-Guna, Jhansi-Shivpuri-Sheopur, Sagar-Rahli-Jabalpur, Chhatarpur-Harpalpur, Chhatarpur-Singrauli (88.75 km) Rewa-Sidhi (75.75km) and Sidhi-Singrauli rail projects were pending since long. Chauhan told that all these rail projects have been pending at different levels due to which people of the state are facing hardships. He requested Goyal that all these pending projects of Madhya Pradesh be expedited at ministry and ground levels.
