Carnival Cinemas screens spread with over 324 screens spread across 118 locations in 89 cities, will have a security cover provided by Mumbai-based Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd. The teo companies have entered into a strategic tie-up, that includes cinema-to-home security service for the night cinema goers.
Through this partnership, Zicom will provide security to moviegoers coming to Carnival Cinemas. The security cover includes complete surveillance systems like installation of CCTVs and up-gradation of existing systems. For night cinema-goers, the security systems company is extending its customised mobile personal safety application called ‘Ziman’ on each movie ticket bought. The app will provide safety and security to all the night cinema goers right from the time the ticket is purchased until the customers are home safely.

This is a first-of-a-kind partnership that provides the customers’ exclusive security and safety measures. Carnival Films Pvt. Ltd, CEO and director, PV Sunil said, “Security issues have become daily part of our lives and movie theatre is a place of comfort.
If you look at the industry, you will see a lot of renovation, specifically targeting customer amenities like reclining seats and variety of concession items. In addition to that, Carnival Cinemas always wants to make sure that our patrons are safe.”
Carnival Cinemas is present across Metros, Tier I, Tier II and Tier III cities. The group plans to add 5000 screens globally by 2020. On the other hand, Zicom is spread across five countries and across 1023 cities.
