New Delhi : Samsung India has entered into a partnership with the Government of Uttar Pradesh recently. As per the deal, it will add 20 new Samsung smart healthcare centres across the state and provide affordable and quality healthcare to patients from the economically and socially weaker sections of society.
As part of its program, the company will provide advanced and innovative healthcare equipment such as ultrasound and digital radiology (x-ray) machines manufactured by the company along with a Samsung LED TV, Samsung air conditioner and refrigerator to selected government hospitals across the state.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Samsung India and the Department of Medical Health & Family Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh. This was in the presence of Siddharth Nath Singh, Minister of Medical and Health, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Prashant Trivedi, Principal Secretary, Department of Medical Health & Family Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh; V Hekali Zhimomi, Secretary, Medical Health & Family Welfare Department; Dr. Padmakar Singh, Director General, Medical & Health Services, Government of Uttar Pradesh and other dignitaries.
