Sach Bharat – Introspect, cleanse your inner self, imbibe spirituality and inculcate integrity in your workplace to benefit the society and humanity at large. ASSOCHAM in association with Srei Foundation, Times Foundation and IMC held a confluence in Mumbai to bring about a fresh culture of Spirituality @ Work.

Sach Bharat is a first-of-its-kind conglomeration where all streams of thought converge for a great cause. It originated from Srei Foundation’s popular initiative – World Confluence of Humanity, Power and Spirituality – which is now in its eighth year.

Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao, Governor of Maharashtra, said: “This is the first time that a serious attempt is made to bring spirituality into the board rooms and workplaces in India. This will not only help our businesses, but our country at large.” “Our Hon’ble Prime Minister had launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and today there is greater awareness about cleanliness. The Hon’ble Prime Minister is also keen to promote Swasth Bharat and Sikshit Bharat. Now the next thing that has come is Sach Bharat. I will collect all the deliberations of this Confluence and hand it over to the Prime Minister,” he added.

Sunil Kanoria, President, ASSOCHAM, said: “It is important to inculcate the right attitude, righteousness, devotion to work, commitment to innovation, deep insight and intention, unified cooperation in work, profit with the right means and not motivated by greed but self-confidence, faith in self and others, peace and harmony, fearlessness and many such values.”

These values cannot be taught externally but needs to be internalised. This is possible only when there is a culture of honesty and truthfulness in the basic fabric of the society. The impact of spirituality at work gives insight into complex business problems and encourages one to work hard and give their best.”
