Nirvana Sawhney, an alumnus of the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, plays parallel lead, Rhea Kohli in Zee TV’s show, ‘Bin Kuch Kahe’. A strong personality, she has an on and off relationship with her fiancé and is the diva her family can barely keep up with.

On landing this role, Nirvana said, “I was in New York City, living my dream or at least trying to; the centre of world class theatre, Broadway, improvisational comedy, film and plenty of struggle. I was talking to a friend about wanting do something different. She told me about this project in India, which would be a mix of film and television; a finite TV series being made in the style of a film. I got in touch with the casting director, Kashyap Chandhock and sent in video auditions and multiple look tests from New York. Soon after, I was short listed for the part of Rhea Kohli and they wanted to see me in person for another look test. When I met Rajshree Ojha, she looked at me with a broad smile and said, ‘you’re going to be my Rhea’.”

Rajshree Ojha adds, “Rhea Kohli aka Nirvana Sawhney is being loved on television for being a breath of fresh air on the small screen.”
