NHPC, BHEL inks MoU to develop global hydropower

Mumbai : National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd (NHPC) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) have signed a memorandum of understanding to undertake hydropower projects in global markets, the former informed the exchanges on Thursday, reports Cogencis.  As per the memorandum, the companies will look after the civil and Electromechanical works, respectively. Shares of NHPC ended up 0.2% at 25.15 rupees and those of Bharat Heavy Electricals ended down 2.8% at 140.10 rupees on the NSE.
