Mumbai: Even as the debt-laden Jet Airways on Monday defaulted on payment to its debenture-holders, the chairman Naresh Goyal addressed 16,000 employees of the airline and assured them on resolution. In his letter to the staff, he wrote that talks with the airline’s strategic partner Etihad Airways and SBI-led lenders are going on. He further wrote “the situation, though complex, has my personal attention towards an early resolution. However, more time is needed to clinch bailout.
