Milind Deora leads Mumbai’s youth to Delhi on a Parliament Visit

50 students from 19 colleges across Mumbai visited the parliament recently, as part of Milind Deora’s, Union Minister of State for Communications and IT, Youth Development Program. Conducted for the fourth consecutive year, this initiative aim sat developing students’ understanding of Indian democracy and encourages students to take up active participation in the democratic process.

This year’s parliamentary visit included a trip to the Parliament Museum, Public Gallery, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Students were presented with an opportunity tointeract with the Hon. Vice President. Dr K. Hamid  Ansari. The event was organised in association with the Bombay Stock Exchange. The students met Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for Human Resource Development, and Sheila Dikshit, Chief Minister of  New Delhi. Dr.K.Hamid  Ansari, Vice President also interacted with the students.
