It’s time to ‘reshape markets through disruption’!

Mumbai : Through the IAA knowledge series on ‘Reshaping Markets through Disruption’, the India Chapter of International Advertising Association (IAA) will start a discussion on the latest disruption activity in the advertising, marketing and media space. The discussion will be followed by IndIAA Awards.

Srinivasan Swamy, president of IAA India Chapter and SVP, IAA Global said, “The IAA knowledge series offers an excellent opportunity for a discussion on issues of critical importance for advertising, marketing and media professionals.”

This knowledge series will have two illustrious personalities – Raghav Bahl, Founder of Quintillion Media Pvt. Ltd and Ronnie Screwvala, Founder of UTV Group, Unilazer Ventures and Swades Foundation, providing meaningful insights. This power-packed discussion will be moderated by yet another well-known personality and celebrated face of Indian Television; and Indy Network’s co-founder and editor Mini Menon. The ‘Riding the Wave’ author will seek responses from the panelist on whether they can recreate their success earlier in their new ventures, during the knowledge series which is powered by Free Press Journal. “The monthly event will be the first of the series ‘Reshaping Markets through Disruption’. We will bring in real mavericks that have changed the business landscape,” said Abhishek Karnani, director of Free Press Journal. “The event will be informal, fun and interactive one and will be telecasted live on Quint. We are inviting only 50 high profile people from financial world and corporate sectors; media, agencies and advertisers.”

Commenting on the series, Menon said, “Indy Network is excited to bring the first of the disruptor series. This program is conceptualised by us to create a forum to bring together people who have been true disruptors and engage with them with pertinent questions that few have posed.” Following the series, the IndIAA Awards ceremony will be held wherein the most creative advertising backed by real budgets from top 20 advertising categories will be honored. The title partner for the awards is Mathrubhumi. M V Shreyams Kumar, Director, Marketing at Mathrubhumi said, “We are indeed proud to be partnering with IAA for the IndIAA Awards. It is a great opportunity to be supporting real advertising of the top advertised categories which is backed by major budgets. The IAA knowledge series on ‘Reshaping Markets through Disruption’ and IndIAA Awards will take place at 5 pm and 6.30 pm respectively, on September 16th.
