NEW DELHI :  The Delhi High Court reserved its order on BJP leader Subramanian Swamy’s plea for interim stay on approvals to foreign direct investments in greenfield airline projects, including the Tata Sons-AirAsia deal. A bench headed by Chief Justice N.V. Ramana reserved the order after hearing arguments of Swamy, government and Tata Sons. While Swamy said the policy on FDI in airlines did not allow foreign investment in greenfield carriers, the government opposed it and said it had taken a conscious decision of allowing FDI in existing as well as new airlines.        -Cogencis
