NEW DELHI:  Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha said the government would stick to the fiscal consolidation roadmap even as it implements the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission which will increase the overall government expenditure by Rs 1.02 trln. “In the Budget (2015-16) we had laid out a fiscal roadmap which is 3.9% fiscal deficit this year and 3.6% the following year. And the roadmap that we have put together is taking into account the time-based estimate of what the impact of the Pay Commission would be,” Sinha said on the sidelines of a event.
