Fortis Health arm to divest 100% in RadLink-Asia

MUMBAI: Fortis Healthcare Ltd’s Singapore subsidiary will divest 100%stake in RadLink-Asia Pte Ltd to Medi-Rad Associates Ltd for 137 mlnSingapore dollars (about 6.6 bln rupees) and focus on Indian operations, thecompany said in a release today.RadLink is engaged in providing healthcare services in Singapore.The deal will be closed after getting necessary statutory and regulatoryapprovals, the release said.”This is in line with our strategic decision to intensify our focus onour core hospital and diagnostics business in India,” Malvinder Singh,executive chairman, Fortis Health was quoted as saying in the release.
