Mumbai :  Dubai-based airline Emirates will boost the children’s content on its in-flight entertainment system by offering latest movies and Disney classics to attract more passengers from the domestic market during the Christmas break.

“Now, young travellers flying Emirates will have more entertainment choices than ever with an upgraded content on the in-flight entertainment system, ice digital widescreen (information, communication, entertainment).

“From new release movies and Disney classics to a massive selection of TV programmes, December will be a great month to fly Emirates with the family,” Emirates said in a release.

Emirates so far is the largest foreign airline operating in India with 185 weekly flights. However, the airline’s domination in the domestic skies appears to be under threat with Etihad joining hands with private carrier Jet Airways.

Only yesterday, Etihad’s 24 per cent stake purchase deal with Jet Airways cleared the last regulatory hurdle after the Competition Commission of India approved the deal.

Nickelodeon featuring Bubble Guppies, Spongebob and Team Umizoomi.
