Collection of Hindi poetry by Western Rly’s SK Jha is released

Mumbai : The release of collection of hindi poetry was performed on Sept 14 at the Western Railway headquarters at  Godbole cultural hall on the occasion of Hindi Divas.

A senior railway officer Santosh Kumar Jha has published his first collection of hindi poetry and ghazal. The subjects dealt with comprises of various incidents of day-to-day life and expression of sensibilities of human beings with respect to society, nature, secularism and emotions of human beings.

On this occasion, GM  of Western Railway Mahesh Kumar along with additional GM Deepak Gupta, Anjali Kumar, President of WR women’s social service committtee and K K Atal, Chief Rajbhasha officer released the book. Mahesh Kumar, GM of WR appreciated the creative excellence of Jha and congratulated him for not only being an able administrator but also an excellent poet.

On this occasion, three poetries were also composed in music and the artists of WR fine arts presented the poet in the form of songs.

The function began with the recitation of Saraswati-Vandana folllowed by an address by Atal and Mahesh Kumar.  On this occasion, SK Jha recited some of the poetry and the review of poetries was done by Hindi littérateur Deomani Pandey. The book is published by Shruti publications, Delhi.

The programme was conducted by Senior PRO, WR, Gajanan Mahat Purkar and vote of thanks was delivered by senior hindi officer, WR Dr Roshni.
