Raipur : The chief minister Raman Singh will lay foundation stone of 664 buildings to be constructed under Atal Vihar Yoajana at Urga, Korba under vikas yatra on Sunday.

288 houses will be built under economically weaker section (EWS), 90 under lower income group (LIG), 262 under middle income group (MIG) and 24 houses under high income group (HIG) in Urba. The colonies will have broad roads, proper supply of electricity, water supply and other facilities as per the modern standards. The colonies will be eco-friendly keeping the environmental factors in mind.

Board members said the town was selected under Atal Vihar Yojana for the construction of the colony for providing housing facilities as per the industrial development. Those who are financially weak and having income under Rs 80,000 will be provided Rs 40,000 subsidy. These people will also be given 5 per cent subsidy under HUDCO.

The CM had also inaugurated 104 houses under Deendayal Awas Yoajan under recently.
