Raipur : Chief minister Raman Singh addressed a massive public gathering held under vikas yatra at Beltara of Bilaspur district on Saturday. On the third day of the current phase of yatra, the CM also inaugurated and laid foundation of 43 construction works worth Rs 63 crore. The CM also addressed a gathering at Pali and laid foundation of 135 developmment works worth Rs 85 crore.

In his address at Beltara and Pali, the chief minister said the most important agendas of the democracy were the welfare of the public and the development of the state and nation. Singh said development and needs of the every section of the society were included in their agendas which is evident from the satisfaction of the citizens of the state.

Along with inauguration of development works, the CM distributed ration cards to 6000 families and forest rights patta to 1000 rural families in Pali. Goods and other incentives were also provided to 18,234 beneficiaries in the public gathering at Pali.

The CM pointed out the various policies implemented for the overall development and benefit of each and every citizen. Some of the schemes he mentioned were Health Security Smart Card Scheme, providing loan at 1 per cent interest, paddy procurement, distribution of free bicycles and sewing machines, Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Yoajan, scholarships for children and Bharat Darshan Yojana. The various schemes cover almost every section of the society and all facets of the development in the state. Singh said whether they are teachers or students under education department, farmers and labourers or government employees, the state government has the scheme for everyone.
