Closing Bell: Indices end lower; Sensex down 187 points, Nifty at 18084

Today, the benchmark indices end lower, with Nifty at 18084.

The Sensex was down 187.31 points or 0.31% at 60858.43, and the Nifty was down 81.20 points or 0.45% at 18084.15.

Coal India, UPL, ONGC, SBI Life Insurance, and BPCL were the major gainers on Nifty, while the major losers were Adani Enterprises, Asian Paints, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
