Beijing: China’s stocks closed mixed on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.03 percent at 3,578.96 points.
The smaller Shenzhen index climbed 0.04 percent to close at 12,830.25 points, Xinhua reported.
The ChiNext Index, which tracks China’s NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 0.19 percent to close at 2,830.26 points.
