Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, who is also the chairman of 171-member Central Committee of Rajim Kumbh, extended his best wishes to the public for famous ‘Rajim Kumbh Mela’ to be organized from February 14.
This mega annual event of Chhattisgarh ‘Rajim Kumbh’ will be organized for two weeks. Rajim Kumbh will conclude on the occasion of Mahashivratri i.e. on February 27. Chief Minister said that Rajim Kumbh, the mega event organized every year at the sacred confluence point of three rivers namely Mahanadi, Pairi and Sondhur, has become an inseparable part of Chhattisgarh’s cultural identity. Rajiv Lochan Temple in Rajim and other historical temples of Kuleshwar Mahadev are of great religious significance to the lakhs and crores of devotees in not only Chhattisgarh but also across the country.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh has appealed all the students, their parents, guardians, teachers and other people of state to actively participate in the programmes organszed by schools on the occasion of ”Matra-Pitra Poojan Diwas”, which is to be observed on February 14 on Magh Poornima. Chief Minister has extended his best wishes for the success of the programmes to be organized on the occasion. Chief Minister has appealed people to participate in the programmes organized on the occasion in local schools.
