Chambal Fertilisers net profit down 27% at Rs 216 cr in FY’16

New Delhi:  Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Ltd reported a 27 per cent decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 216.08 crore during last fiscal.  Its net profit stood at Rs 294.61 crore in the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing.

However, the company’s total income from operations rose to Rs 10,527.32 crore in the financial year 2015-16 from Rs 9,737.74 crore in the previous fiscal.

On standalone basis, Chambal Fertilisers posted a net loss of Rs 29.43 crore against a loss of Rs 103.57 crore in the year-ago period. Income from operations rose marginally to Rs 1,595.29 crore during January-March quarter of last fiscal.
