Central schemes more controversial, says Former governor Y V Reddy

Mumbai: Former governor Y V Reddy said that central government schemes are more controversial compared to state run. He said while addressing the media post launch of the book co-authored by him. He added that the book is not drawing any conclusions but it is trying to bring to light the impact of state and central schemes.

“Each state has its own scheme and there are central-owned scheme. There are a lot of controversy that is related to centrally sponsored scheme. The most contentious issue related to fiscal federalism relates to its central sponsored scheme,” he added.
