BHOPAL : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigating the Vyapam scam has once again failed to submit the status report in the Supreme Court. The report had to be submitted on August 17. The CBI has asked for a new date in the month of September.

This is for the 10th time the CBI has failed to submit the report, after Supreme Court handed over the Vyapam scam probe to CBI on July 9, 2015. Since then the CBI has submitted the report only twice into the court.

For the last time the status report was submitted on October 8, 2015. After that the investigating agency has been seeking more time to submit the report.

Whereas the registrar of the Court has not allotted the date, but it is presumed that it could be the first week in September.

The agency is avoiding submitting the report. The status report contains the fact which is updated and the huge area of investigation is creating problem for the agency. Earlier the CBI demanded sanctioning of 496  posts to investigate into the case.
