I am currently reading ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ by Paramahansa Yoganandaand am highly influenced by it. It has made me more spiritual and helped me attain peace of mind. It has also taught me to live life to the fullest, instead of getting nervous and worried small things.

It made me connect to myself. In the course of reading this book, I had several doubts about the existence of such sages. It led me on to a journey to look for such people and I succeeded when I met a spiritual guru, who has an ashram in Ujjain. Meeting him was a very different and amazing experience. It made me life very peaceful.

The book has affected me deeply and I will definitely try to imbibe every little aspect of the book in my life.

(About the book: ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ is at once a beautifully written account of an exceptional life and a profound introduction to the ancient science of Yoga and its time-honored tradition of meditation. With engaging candor, eloquence, and wit, Paramahansa Yogananda tells the inspiring chronicle of his life: his remarkable childhood, encounter with many saints and sages, ten years of training in the hermitage of a revered yoga master, and the thirty years that he lived and taught in America. Also recorded here are his meetings with Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore, Luther Burbank, the Catholic stigmatist Therese Neumann, and other celebrated spiritual personalities of East and West.)

Kavita Seth is an Indian singer. She rose to fame with in 2010 for her classical Sufi rendition ‘Gunja Sa Koi Iktara’ for the film ‘Wake Up Sid’.
