Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently basking in the success of his latest release 'Pathaan'.
The 57-year-old returned to the silver screens after a hiatus of four long years with 'Pathaan', and the film has emerged to be the biggest hit of the superstar's career.
On Monday, SRK, who has been quite chatty on social media of late, engaged in an interactive session with his fans and that is when a netizen questioned him about his retirement plans.
SRK opens up on retirement
The user went on to ask Shah Rukh about who will be the next big thing in Bollywood after the actor finally decides to hang his boots.
To that, SRK replied with his trademark wit: "I will never retire from acting…I will have to be fired…and maybe even then I will come back hotter!!"
The reply won the hearts of his fans and they exclaimed why SRK is known as the king of comebacks and wit.
Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming projects
After returning from his four-year break with a bang, SRK now has a number of films lined up in the pipeline for him.
He is set to star in Atlee's 'Jawan' and will also collaborate with Rajkumar Hirani for the first time for 'Dunki'.
Not just that, but if reports are to be believed, filmmaker Aditya Chopra is planning the biggest ever Bollywood spectacle by pitting Salman Khan's 'Tiger' and SRK's 'Pathaan' in a new film in his beloved spy universe.
Meanwhile, 'Pathaan' is just inches away from crossing the Rs 1000 crore mark at the global box office. In India, it has already grossed over Rs 500 crore and the film has been going strong in theatres for almost a month now.
