Mumbai: Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani booked for violating COVID-19 norms

Mumbai: A case under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code for disobedience of orders promulgated by a public servant was registered at Bandra in connection with an incident where actors Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani were caught being driven around the Bandstand while returning from the gym on Tuesday evening.

The two actors, along with their driver, were booked under section 188 and section 34 pertaining to common intention on Wednesday. Police intercepted their car and asked them to verify their documents near Bandstand, after which they were booked and asked to leave.

A source said, Patani was seen seated in the front and Shroff was at the back. According to the restrictions amid 'Break The Chain', citizens cannot be outside without a valid reason
