Actress Kangana Ranaut celebrated her 36th birthday on Thursday. She thanked her fans for showering her with loved-up messages on her special day.

And in return, she also shared a special message for her fans and followers.

The actress, who often finds herself in news for her controversial statements and online feuds with other celebs, took her birthday as an opportunity to apologise to all those whom she might have hurt with her words and actions.

Kangana Ranaut's special birthday message

Kangana took to her Instagram handle on Thursday to drop a new video of herself all decked up in a gorgeous silk saree and heavy gold jewellery.

In the video, the 'Thalaivi' actress thanked her parents and her gurus for their teachings and blessings. She then addressed her "shatrus" (enemies) and said that she is thankful to them for driving her to be successful and teaching her the struggle of life.

She went on to issue her apology and said, "Doston meri vichaardhara bahut saral hai, mera achran, soch bhi bahut saral hai aur main humesha hi sabka accha chahti hu. Iske chalte agar maine kabhi kisi ke liye deshhit mein ya larger picture ke liye maine kisi ke liye kuch kaha ho aur unko uska dukh hua ho, thess lagi ho, main uske liye bhi shama chahti hu."

Kangana Ranaut's controversies

Kangana's video comes a day after she took a dig at her old foe Diljit Dosanjh over the Punjab Police's crackdown in their state to nab Khalistani supporter Amritpal Singh.

She indirectly warned Diljit that cops will next come after him for extending support to Khalistan.

Back in 2020, Kangana had first locked horns with Diljit on social media, in what ended up being one of the ugliest spats of showbiz.

The actress had called the Punjabi singer-actor "Khalistani" for supporting the farmers' protest in India.

Kangana Ranaut's upcoming projects

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana recently wrapped up the shoot of her film 'Emergency', which has also been directed by her.

The film will see her assume the role of former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, and it also stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudry, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, and others.

'Emergency' is currently in its post-production stage and it is set to hit the theatres later this year.

Apart from 'Emergency', Kangana also has 'Tejas', 'Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda', 'The Incarnation: Sita', 'Chandramukhi' and the biopic of Noti Binodini in the pipeline.
