BHOPAL : Gautam Nagar police on Friday arrested two persons including a minor and younger brother of a 22-year-old youth for the latter’s murder on September 25. Police said that Arman Ali’s younger brother Salman has confessed that he had hired his friend Sikandar as contract killer for Rs 1,00,000 to get rid of his brother with whom he had regular brawls as the deceased used to take money from him, his two sisters and his mother forcibly to buy liquor.
The contract killer Sikandar and his accomplice, who is a minor have been also arrested by the police.
Gautam Nagar police said, “Salman and his elder brother Arman Ali used to quarrel regularly as the deceased used to demand money from his mother for liquor and when they refused to do so, Arman thrashed them”.
On September 25, Arman (22) was found murdered in a step well (Bawdi) located near PGBT College. Salman himself informed family members about Arman’s body after which police were informed. Later cops fished out his body and sent it for post-mortem examinations. The PM report stated that around ten injury marks were spotted on his body.
Having confirmed that Salman was behind the murder, police made him co-accused and later arrested him from his residence. All the three accused were booked on charges of murder and were produced before the court from there they were sent on police remand.
