BHOPAL : Minister for higher and technical education, Umashankar Gupta, speaking at a state-level advisory committee of National Service Scheme (NSS) on Tuesday, said NSS unit should be in all government and private colleges of the state.
Gupta said there should be novelty in the works undertaken so that interest in students is maintained. He said works should be undertaken considering requirement of village so that the activities of NSS become subject of discussion.
More people should be linked and outreached. Public representatives should be invited in the camps. Higher education minister said vice chancellor should review the activities of NSS in every quarter. The students taking part in special camps during examination should be allowed to appear in special examination. News letters related to works undertaken during NSS should be released. A calendar of activities at district and state levels should be made.
