BHOPAL : A woman filed a case of fraudulence at Bag Sevania police on Monday evening against two persons who offered her a job in AIIMS, Bhopal. The accused duped her of Rs 2.75.

An MBA pass out, Fiza Khan, 22, resident of Berasia Road, complained to police against Zarina and Anvar Javed Khan. She told the cops in her complained that Zarina is an NGO director which she runs with her relatives. Zarina promised to get Fiza appointed in AIIMS Bhopal as a LDC with the help of Anvar. Zarina told Fiza that Anvar is a government employee and he has good contacts in AIIMS administration. When Zarina convinced her, both of them went to meet Anvar, where he demanded Rs 25 thousand for registration in AIIMS. She gave him the amount on November 9.

After a month they said she was selected for the job and again took Rs 2.50 lakh from her on December 11. As they again demanded for Rs 2.50 lakh, then she grew suspicious and complained to police. The victim belongs to a poor family and her father is a welder. Police have started investigating the case. In another incident, jewellery worth around Rs 4.50 lakh including cash were stolen from a house in Kolar area. According to Kolar police, an assistant professor 48-year-old Manoj Solanki lives in DK-5 of Kolar area. He went to Agra with his family to attend a marriage ceremony on January 26. As he returned on January 31, he found lock of the main gate broken and bedroom door was ajar.

He found 2 chains, 4 rings, a necklace, 5 silver coins and Rs 22 thousand missing. Kolar police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to nab the thieves.
