BHOPAL : A Congress leader has accused food and civil supplies minister Vijay Shah of hatching a conspiracy to kill her in collusion with his relatives and nephew of ex-BJP MLA Asha rani. She complained to Kamla Nagar police on Saturday to register an FIR and provide her securities.
The complainant Congress leader, Arti Bhadoriya lives at 115, phase-2 Rivera town. She reached to cops and complained against Asha Rani’s nephew who barged into her house with two others on February 20 and thrashed her while demanding Rs 5 lakh as extortion money. He said if she did not part with money he would kill her.
SI SK Rajpoot said Bhadoria kept the empty bottle of liquor consumed by the accused on the premise of her house and glasses as evidence and showed them to cops.
She also complained that the miscreants thrashed and threatened her at the behest of minister Vijay Shah. She said that she had an old rivalry with the relatives of the minister regarding an issue of shifting Hanuman Temple located at Rivera Town. She mentioned in her complaint that her life is in danger because of them, as they are conspiring to kill her. She demanded police protection and filing of an FIR against the minister and their relatives including the ex-MLA’s nephew and two other. The Kamla Nagar police are investigating the case. TI Ashish Bhatacharya said that it is a serious issue and a team of cops are investigating the CCTV footage and other facts to know the reality of the incident. The investigation will be complete on Monday evening after recording the statement of all the persons who are supposedly involved in the case.
