BHOPAL: The state experienced fluctuation in temperature- day ( maximum temperature) as well as night ( night temperature) — on Tuesday.

In Bhopal, temperature soared in day as well in night on Tuesday. Weatherman attributed the fluctuation to transition period which generally happens before onset of winter. Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 32.9 ° C which was normal while it recorded a minimum temperature of 21.5 ° C which was 2 ° C above normal.

While on Monday, day temperature was 31° C while night temperature was 20.6° C. it reflected that temperature soared. Divisions like Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur witnessed a drop in day temperature. Similarly, Sagar, Gwalior and Indore divisions recorded temperature below normal.

However, Gwalior recorded a minimum temperature of 22.5 ° C which 4 ° C above normal. While temperature was recorded above normal in the Chambal division.

Day temperature ( maximum temperature) was recorded at 33 degree Celsius at many places in the state while Malajhkhand recorded 17 ° C as minimum temperature ( night temperature) which is lowest in the state. Pachmarhi recorded normal maximum as well as minimum temperature normal.

According to meteorology department, eastern parts of the state may experience light rain. Otherwise weather will be mainly dry. Temperature fluctuation will prevail before onset of the winter as it is transition period. Once temperature is set, major fluctuation is hardly observed.
