CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan asked officials of higher  education department to implement integrated plan for reforms

BHOPAL: The government will equip universities and colleges with wi-fi facility and provide smart phones to students getting admission in colleges.In a meeting chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan asked officials of higher education department to implement integrated plan for reforms and higher education.

He said he would talk with selected professors and principals on phone.Chauhan reviewed 100-day agenda.  He asked the officials to talk with industrial groups to get their contribution in infrastructure development of colleges.

The officials said ten colleges – college of excellence of Bhopal, Holkar Science College, TRS College, Rewa, Adarsh Vigyan Mahavidyalaya, Jabalpur, Government Girls College Sagar,  Maharaja Mahavidyalaya, Chhatarpur, Jijabai Government College, Sagar, Kamla Raje College, Gwalior, Government Sarojini Girls College, Bhopal and Government Madhav College, Ujjain – have been selected for upgradation.The chief said block grant to university should be revised and directed action against teachers for poor results.
