Waiter commits suicide by hanging self in hotel

BHOPAL: A 22- year- old waiter committed suicide by hanging self from the railing in a hotel at Adarsh Market under Piplani police station area in the early hours of Saturday.

The incident came to light on Saturday morning as the hotel owner opened the shutter of hotel and spotted his hanging body subsequent to which he informed police.

Following the information police reached the spot and later sent his body for the post- mortem.

The deceased Jwala alias Karan Singh, 22, who hails from Mugawli in Ashok Nagar, was residing in a room at hotel where he worked as a waiter.

Sardar Singh Thakur, owner of Famous Hotel said on Friday night Jwala along with other staff boys went to sleep and late in the night hanged self.

However no suicide note has been recovered from the spot while the other workers of hotel told the police that he used to remain upset engrossed in worries about future of his younger brothers residing at the village.

Subsequently, the police have registered a case under section 174 of CrPc and sent the body of deceased for the post- mortem.

outh injured in road mishap dies The son of a constable undergoing treatment after he met with a road accident along with his father at Misrod area a week ago succumbed to his injuries during the treatment late on Friday night. The constable had died on the spot in the mishap.

Police said the deceased was identified as Sohel ( 25), son of Jameel Khan, who resides at BDA Colony at Koh- e- Fiza. A week ago Sohel and his father Jameel were on their way to home riding a bike when an unidentified vehicle hit their bike at Misrod area in which the constable Jameel died on the spot while his son was admitted in a private hospital where he died during the treatment on Friday night.

Police have registered a case under section 304- A of the IPC against the unidentified vehicle driver and launched a hunt to nab him.

Two held with illegal firearms The city crime branch nabbed two miscreants along with firearms near railway track at MP Nagar Zone- 2 on Saturday.

Besides their arrest, the crime branch also recovered two country- made revolvers and two live cartridges from their possession.

ASP ( Crime) Shailendra Singh Chouhan said the two arrested youths have been identified as Rakesh, 27, son of Purushottam Upadhyay, a resident of South TT Nagar, who is a building material supplier and Mohd Khalid, 25, son of Mohd Tayyab from Ashoka Garden who deals in real estate.

Chauhan further said that at the time of Vidhan Sabha session illegal firearms were seized by the police and the people possessing them were arrested. They revealed the names of duo accused since then crime branch was searching for them.
