Neemuch : 12-hectare government land, allotted for graze-yard and situated near Gandhi Colony Nayagaon has been allotted to the Rathore Cement Private limited, Chanderia Rajasthan for doing mining of lime-stone from the land and it has created troubles for the cattle as their source of food has been snatched. Villagers are irked over the same.As per the information received from the villagers, the village Chainpura is situated beside the land of Nayagaon and limestone are found there in abundant quantity in this region, due to which Rathore Cement Company had demanded the allotment of this land from the land mining department in the year 2011. However, at that time, villagers showed objection regarding this and also denied to give the graze land.

But, Rathore Cement Company occupied the 12 hectare government land and taking the advantage of the implementation of moral code of conduct in the recent Lok Sabha election, they had constructed the boundary wall and office on the allotted land. Villagers complained that now they don’t have any land to feed their cattle so where they would take them.

When the officials of the company were asked about the demarcation of land then they remained mum and didn’t answer any question. The allotment has raised many questions as the demarcation of land was performed at the time of code of conduct, so that no politician and villagers could interfere.

All the questions would be answered only when the government will take any decision either they would void the allotted land or they would let the cattle drought hit.
