NASRULLAGANJ: The Nasrullaganj police busted a gang of bike lifters recently and arrested a father son duo. The cops also recovered four stolen bikes from their possession.According to sources, police received a tip-off from Roshan Shah, resident of Gopalpur village that Bhanvar Singh Meena and his son Pavan Meena were selling a Pulsar motorcycle without registration number. Acting swiftly on the received information police arrested the father son duo on the basis of suspicion and seized the motorcycle along with Rs 13,000.

During interrogation the duo confessed of selling three more motorcycles after stealing them. Motorcycles from Indore, Harda, Sehore were also seized on their information. A pulsar motorcycle was seized from Anil Panvar, resident of Kharsania Village along with Rs 25,000 cash. The police have applied for the remand of the accused in the court. Probably some more incident might be revealed during the remand.

According to police sources, when cops approached the accused, Bhanvar Singh residted his arrest claiming himself to be the district general secretary of the Congress. However, he was held and when the cops contacted the district Congress Committee office, the party leaders denied of Bhnavar Singh association with the political group.
