BHOPAL: Van Vihar National Park’s tigress Sita is facing difficulty in walking for the last 4 weeks. Sita keeps sitting most of the time due to which she has developed sores in her hind legs. Sita is being treated by Van Vihar’s doctors in consultation with Dr. Toomadiya of State Veterinary Hospital, Bhopal. Tigress Sita is also taking less than her regular diet. Her condition is not satisfactory at present. Sita was brought at the age of 9 months to the park from Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh on June 22, 1994. Her present age is 21 years.
