Bagli : An under-trial prisoner of Bagli sub-jail died on the way while he was being rushed to Indore for treatment on Sunday.

Kailash (45), resident of Ginni Moh village under Anjad police station of Barwani district, had been in Bagli prison for cases (no 104/12 and 163/12) under section 302 and 34 of IPC. On Sunday morning, he became unconscious just after morning prayers. He was immediately rushed to community health centre of Bagli by jail guards. Dr Vijay Nagar checked him and referred him to Indore.

However, on the way to Indore Kailash passed away and brought back to Bagli community health centre. Jailer ML Patel informed the senior officials about his death. All the senior officials including additional chief judicial magistrate Rajendra Singh Thakur, tehsildar BS Shrivastav nayab tehsildar Lavnit Kauri, Bagli police station in-charge BS Gaure and others reached the health centre, informed the kin of deceased prisoner Kailash and sent the body for postmortem.
