Umashankar Gupta urges Bar Council to issue NOC for new law colleges

BHOPAL: Higher Education Minister Umashankar Gupta met All India Bar Council, chairman, Manand Mishra and deputy chairman SL Gauda at New Delhi and discussed on issuing no-objection certificate to 29 law colleges sanctioned in the state.

Mishra said the process of NOC would be initiated soon by making 5 zones and getting inspection done. He said this is for the first time when any Minister has met him to start College.

Minister Gupta said infrastructure of colleges is ready and they could not start in absence of NOC from Bar Council. Law colleges in Rajgarh, Hoshangabad, Sehore, Teekamgarh, Bina, Ashoknagar, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Datia, Bhind, Dewas, Shajapur, Ujjain, Narsinghpur, Mandla, Seoni, Chhindwara, Balaghat, Jhabua, Khargone, Badwani, Alirajpur, Dhar, Betul, Raisen, Harda, Sidhi and Sheopur have been approved.
