UCAMS mental math competition begins at Satya Sai Woman College

BHOPAL : 700 children from 21 UCMAS centers in the city participated the two- day ‘2nd Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition’ which began at Satya Sai Woman College on Saturday.

It is organised by UCMAS (Universal Concepts of Mental Arithmetic Systems).The participants attempted to solve 200 questions in a time limit of 8 minutes. One Champion and three runner ups will be announced for the event.

UCMAS, a global leader in Abacus and its mental arithmetic proramme is held as a brain development programme for students of the age group 5 to 13 years. UCMAS programme claims that it helps a child to excel in overall academics and is very useful for competitive exams. Students develop their listening skills, concentration, comprehension, imagination, creativity, speed & accuracy that induces a high level of self reliance and self confidence., thus making it a life time skill with nurturance provided at the right age.
