BHOPAL: The list of saboteurs of Bharatiya Janata Party’s poll effort in the Assembly elections in the State includes two MPs: Ganesh Singh and Govind Mishra. Singh is an MP from Satna while Mishra represents Sidhi. At a meeting of Disciplinary committee of the party held on Thursday here, it was decided that as many as 102 leaders would be served show- cause notices for working against the party’s candidates in the assembly elections and also for indiscipline.

They include former MP Dalpat Paraste Committee’s president Lallu Singh said the notices have been issued on the basis of complaints. He said it would be difficult to take action against such leaders as Lok Sabha elections are round the corner.

According to sources, the leaders who have been issued notices include former MLA Dhruvnarayan Singh, Munna Singh Bhadoria and other influential leaders. BJP state in- charge Anantha Kumar, at a recent meeting of BJP executive body, had asked the party to take action against undisciplined leaders. The state leaders, however, are reluctant to do so before Lok Sabha elections.

In the meeting, the complaints related to MPs and national executive members were forwarded to the state president. The committee decided to serve show- cause notices to those party workers who were suspended during assembly elections by the party president. Such leaders will be given 10 days time to reply to the notice.

Those party workers, who worked against the party candidates in districts, will be served show cause notices through district presidents concerned. The committee decided that if the person concerned does not gives reply to the notice within the stipulated time, then the committee would be free to take unilateral decision and expel him or her from the party.
