BHOPAL : Two men who took refuge under a dumper parked on a ground near Aishbagh police station in order to save themselves from rain on Wednesday night were run over by the dumper when they were fast asleep. The incident came to light on Thursday morning when the passers-by spotted their bodies after which police were informed. Following the information, police rushed to the spot and sent their bodies for post-mortem examinations.
According to Aishbagh police one of the deceased has been identified as Suneel Gadewala, 40, a resident of Devari in Raisen district. The identity of the other deceased could not be ascertained. Both the deceased worked as labourers and on the night of incident they were sleeping under dumper which was parked at the spot.
Late in the night, the dumper driver took to wheel and without bothering to see that both the labourers were sleeping under it ran over them. Both the labourers died on the spot. Police have registered a case under section 304A of the IPC against the unidentified dumper driver and started investigations.
