Two held with Rs-6L worth stolen jewellery

BHOPAL  : Two thieves were held by the Kolar police and Crime Branch team with Rs 6 lakh worth of jewellery on Wednesday. One of them was wanted in a case of looting with a constable in the TT Nagar area in 2014.

Bhim Goud, son of Jai Narayan was held from the Abbas Nagar area. He, along with Ravi and Raja alias Chotu Narvaria was wanted in a case of attack and loot with an SAF constable Firoz Khan. The other accused has been identified as Rakesh Ludere son of Kishore Ludere of Damkheda Kolar area. Both the accused have confessed to seven thefts including six from Kolar and one from Jehangirabad area. Cops have recovered around Rs 6 lakh worth of jewellery and cash from them.

According to the Kolar police, Bhim told cops that he started stealing as he was fond of branded clothes and costly liquor and had no regular means of income. He came under the scanner when he purchased a bike recently.
