BHOPAL : Chunna Bhatti police recovered the decomposed body of a 25-year-old youth from Kaliasot dam on Wednesday morning while the other 23-year-old youth, whose body was fished out from the dam on Monday, has been identified.

TI, Chunna Bhatti Jitendra Kumar Pathak while talking to the ‘Free Press’ said that both the deceased were said to be childhood friends and had reached Kaliasot from their house on June 14 in Alto car by saying their houses that they were going to Market and since then they were missing.

Pathak further said that the deceased youth’s whose body has been recovered from Kaliyasot dam on Wednesday morning has been identified as Raj Singh Rajput, 25, son of Deepak Rajput, a resident of Samardha whose father works as a lecturer in Bihar while the another deceased whose decomposed body was fished out from dam on Monday was identified as Ritikesh, 23, son of RK Bharti, a resident of Patel Nagar, Mandideep, whose father is a Postmaster.

Ritikesh was studying in BE course in Patel College while Raj was a BCA pass-out from Career College and currently working in Wipro Company while both were said to be childhood friends as their family resides in Bihar.

On June 14, Ritikesh took Alto car bearing registration number MP 04 CF 2984 from his cousin brother namely Nirmal Singh who resides in Radhakunj at Misrod and works as contractor. Ritikesh told his family that he was going to market and later picked Raj from his house from where they went to Kaliyasot Dam and since they were missing from the house.

On Monday, the police fished out decomposed body of Rishikesh who could not be identified at that

time while on Tuesday recovered their Alto Car and today the body of Raj was fished out.

Police surmises that both have died on June 14 while taking bath in the dam. However the exact reason behind their death could not be known while after registering a case under section 174 of CrPc, the police have sent their bodies for the post-mortem and further investigation was on in the case.
