SHIVPURI: The senior officials of the district health department appear having turned a blind eye towards the hundreds of tribal residents of two villages down with diarrhoea and fever.The block medical officer and others have been informed many times about several residents of Para and Jigani villages suffering from diarrhoea, fever and other seasonal ailments as the temperature is constantly rising.

Nearly half of the residents of the village have contracted the diseases and condition of many patients is reported to be serious and the patients are forced to rely on local quacks who are making a fast buck because of the pestilence.
At Para village the patients suffering from diarrhoea included Ghanshyam, son of Delu Adivasi, Maini, Vimal, both sons of Banvari Adivasi, Ramdasi, wife of Shyamlal Adivasi, Taranade, wife of Tula Adivasi, their daughter Oma, Sapna, daughter of Ramhet, Chameli, daughter of Jugel and others whose condition was said to be critical because of the lack of proper treatment.
