Sanawad : The traffic congestion on the busiest roads of the town, Khargone road and Jawahar Road is now a frequent activity. Adding up to the traffic congestion, there are two transport agencies at Jawahar Marg which are responsible for the further blockage of the roads. There are schools, government hospitals located at Jawahar Marg which also result into overcrowded roads. A fear of mishap always prevails while passing by such roads.
It may be noted that the drivers have to follow the rules implemented by the traffic police. Hence they have to move all the way from Indore road to reach their destination. There are almost three banks and ten shops located near the colonies. This again leads to more of traffic congestion.
The negligence of certain departments has resulted into inactive newly constructed roads. However, citizens namely, Yusuf Khan, Heraram Birla, Vikram Chauhan, Dharmendra Kumrawat and others have demanded of the allowance of traffic on the newly constructed roads as well.
