BHOPAL : Three miscreants on a bike reached a shop and looted Rs 5,500 with ATM and credit cards from the shopkeeper at Koh-e-Fiza area on Thursday night.
According to police sources, 31-year-old Azam Khan, resident of Retghat, Talaiya, runs a shop at Sehgal Tower in Koh-e-Fiza. On Thursday night when he was at his shop, two accused with a knife entered the shop and snatched Rs 5500 and two mobile phone handsets from Khan.
They also snatched ATM and credit cards from him. The third accomplice on a Pulsar bike was standing outside the shop and he took both the looters and escaped from there towards Lalghati. The entire incident of loot was captured in the CCTV camera installed at the shop. Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
In another incident, the Kamla Nagar police registered a theft case on Thursday. As per details an insurance company employee Nitin Singh Tomar lives at Pragati Parisar under Kamala Nagar police station. Tomar and his wife left the home to their offices on Thursday morning. As they returned in the evening, they found the door lock broken and cash and valuables worth Rs one lakh stolen.
