BHOPAL : The Nishatpura police solved a murder mystery on Wednesday and arrested three labourers including two women for their involvement in the murder. The incidents of murder took place at Pipal Chouraha on January 14 in which police found Amar Singh Yadav, 60, dead on bed and the room was locked from outside.
According to police sources, victim Amar singh lived alone in his nephew Narayan singh’s house because his own house situated in Adarsh Nagar was under construction. There were two women labourers Manju and Teena working on the site with Manju’s lover Bharat Ahirwar alias Jitu. Amar had teased and sexually harassed both of the women during the work on the site. As a result Jitu and Amar Quarrelled when Teena complained to Jitu about the incident. After a couple of days Amar called the women to his home to pay their wages on January 11. As they reached there he sexually harassed them again. Jitu became furious after he knew about it and planned to murder Amar. On the next day all of them went to Amar’s house once again and consumed liquor with him. When Amar got unconscious, Manju and Teena held his hands while Jitu attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon. As Amar died, they escaped from there. Police doubted Manju and Teena because Jitu was not found anywhere after that incident. As cops interrogated Manju, she confessed the crime and then all of them were arrested. SP North had announced Rs 10 thousand award for the team which cracked the murder mystery.
