Bhopal: Bodies of three persons, who had fallen in nullahs on Saturday, were recovered on Sunday morning.
As per police sources, Pappu Tonda, 40, resident of Vijay Nagar (Bazaria) drowned after he tried to cross the swollen nullah in Vijay Nagar with two others. Both the others managed to escape from getting washed away.
Similarly, body of Anas, resident of Atal-Ayub Nagar, who had also fallen in nullah on Saturday, has been recovered. The body of 15-year-old Kalyan Singh, son of Karan Singh, resident of New Kabadkhana, was also recovered in Nullah. In this way, bodies of three persons drowned in nullahs, were recovered on Sunday.
Besides, in a road accident, a BE student died and two other were injured in Samardha under Misrod police station. The three friends – Malkhan Singh, Kalyan Singh and Govind Solanki – were returning after having dinner at a dhabha on a bike on Saturday night. On their way back their bike skidded on the road and they fell down in a nullah near Pal-Dhabha after hitting a road divider. All the three were rushed to a hospital. Malkan died during treatment.
